Chevron, Ecuador, Donziger, Oil Spill Lawsuit Update

http://zennie2005.blogspot.com -- The latest episode of this long standing battle between Chevron and Ecuador teamed with plaintiff lawyer Steve Donziger has the Ecuadorian Court in the act of indicting two of Chevron's lawyers for the charge of fraudulently claiming that Chevron completed the remediation process -- a charge Chevron denies. Chevron asserts that Donziger is "in bed" with the Ecuadorian Government -- something covered here before -- and held a press conference calling for charges to be brought against the Chevron lawyers. While Donziger claims he did not do that, I did uncover a press release by him that does point an accusatory finger of fraud at one of the Chevron lawyers involved. Overall the detail of the press release implies that Donziger does have a close relationship with the Ecuadorian Government. Because of this, it's hard to take what their courts do with any real serious tone of justice.

Ha! I will try the coat and tie for a change. That is a good idea. And yeah, the story of who-owns-who is the key matter. But also Ecuador's really at fault.

I like the use of a shirt and tie. I like to see a guy who gets dressed up to address his countrymen about important issues of the day. Try one with a coat on and see what that looks like... As for your topic? I needed a flow chart at :24 seconds into the video.

It's something that is basically simple at its core, but there's a lot of news about it.

I challenge you to get a tape interview, by calling the numbers specified in this video of Steve Donzinger. Lets up the ante and make this interesting.
